What you will visit:
Beaches
The warm, tranquil, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea on the western side of the island are perfect for swimming, and the beaches are excellent launching points for water activity. The eastern waters of the Atlantic Ocean are more turbulent and not suitable for swimming, but the beaches are wonderful for lounging and ocean gazing
What you will see along the way:
While cruising along St. Lucia's verdant tropical coast, you'll pass the quaint fishing villages of Anse la Raye and Canaries and see the picturesque Vigie and La Toc Peninsulas. During your relaxing cruise, your crew will entertain you with facts, folk tales, and anecdotes about the island.
The Pitons
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most photographed landmark on the island, the Pitons are two volcanic plugs. The larger one is called Gros Piton, the smaller is Petit Piton, and they are connected by the Piton Mitan ridge. Gros Piton rises to 786 meters (2,619 feet) and is the second highest peak on Saint Lucia. These conical outcrops tower dramatically over the cobalt blue sea, and views from the water are quite striking.
Soufriere
Established by the French in 1746, it's the oldest town in St. Lucia and the reputed birthplace of Napoleon's Empress, Josephine de Beauharnais. It is a gateway to many of St. Lucia's natural attractions.
Marigot Bay
Author James Michener called Marigot Bay "the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean." A lush, tranquil yachtsman's haven, it has been used for background shots in many Hollywood films such as Dr. Doolittle and Fire Power.
