Outdoor Adventures/ UTV
The grand scenery of Alaska is best explored when you are in it! This is a perfect way to enjoy the Alaska wilderness and wildlife. The UTVs are automatic transmission and drive similarly to a car for ease of operation, but they allow access to wilderness areas not seen from a typical tour bus. A brief safety orientation and experienced, certified guides that lead the way ensure this is a safe and fun activity for all. There is chance to switch off driving so everyone has a turn. You will find many opportunities to admire the amazing views and take pictures of Alaska's unique nature and beauty.

What you will see along the way:
After enjoying scenic views along the 50-minute catamaran ride along the Lynn Canal to Haines, board your motorcoach for a ride up the National Scenic Byway through the lush coastal rainforest of the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. This preserve boasts the largest gathering of bald eagles anywhere in the world. From the UTV staging area, you will drive the UTVs into the Alaska wilderness across Little Salmon Creek and take in spellbinding views from the Klehini, Tsirku and Chilkat River Valleys. Wildlife sightings are abundant, so keep your camera at the ready. You never know when a moose will come out to say hello!

Lunch:
With the great outdoors as your dining room, enjoy a picnic-style lunch that includes a sandwich, chips, cookies and coffee, hot cocoa, lemonade, or water.

Special Notes:

Minimum age is 8 and guests must be at least 4'10" tall and weigh between 50 lbs. and 300 lbs. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and bring a valid driver's license. Both 2-person and 4-person machines are available to accommodate varying group sizes and families. No open-toed shoes or sandals allowed for drivers.

Liability waiver is required to be signed in the presence of the tour operator.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
