What you will visit:

Gardens by the Bay

The locale used for the wedding dinner of Colin and Aramanta, the Gardens by the Bay is a breathtaking waterfront compound showcasing a series of magnificent themed gardens, creating this dazzling, multi-award-winning horticultural destination. The 250-acre park is home to more than 250,000 rare plants housed in giant domed conservatories with several different climate regions to discover. Stroll leisurely through various landscapes, floral pavilions, sparkling water features and the spectacular Super Trees.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel (independent exploration)

Dominating the Marina Bay waterfront is the fantastic work of visionary architect Moshe Safdie. The Marina Bay Sands, considered the world's most expensive resort casino property, dominates the skyline and Singapore's new financial district. The Sands SkyPark Observation Deck (admission at your own expense) is a massive wooden-decked area soaring 57 levels above the city for awe-inspiring citywide views.

What you will see along the way:

You don't have to be crazy, rich or Asian to enjoy gazing upon this spectacular city's top landmarks, with a special nod to the latest Hollywood blockbuster. You'll see the land of the rich and famous who make their homes in Tyersall Road, Gallop Road and Cluny Park as well as others. Top glamourous sights are the Raffles Hotel where movie characters Rachel Chu and her rich boyfriend, Nick Young, stayed; the colonial-era Chijmes; Merlion, the official mascot of Singapore, a mythical creature with a fish's body and a lion's head; and the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris wheel.

Photo Opportunities:

Bring your camera to capture your own version of this popular film when you stop to snap pictures of some of the area's most beloved landmarks and local spots featured as locations.

See the oldest Chinese temple, Thian Hock Keng, built in 1839 with donations from wealthy businessmen. At Ann Siang Hill in Singapore's lively Chinatown, snap a photo of the walkway where Eleanor Young strolled did prior to her mahjong session. And make a quick stop at Bat Bukit Pasoh, a picturesque stretch in Chinatown that, is lined with Peranakan shops and the café where Peik Lin and Rachel had coffee.

Snack:

At Newton Food Centre, you'll find colorful stalls laden with treats. You'll pause for a refreshing beverage (juice) and can also purchase snacks at your own expense.
