A day of nature's delights awaits as you settle in for a short, scenic drive from Sibenik through the hinterland to Krka National Park. Upon arrival at this vast parkland, commence a guided walking tour of the Skradinski Buk Falls, a spectacular multilevel cascade that thunders over travertine cliffs. The whole area is rich with vegetation, birdlife, fish, and a broad spectrum of animals, including several on the European endangered species list. Krka is a bird-watcher's delight: over 200 species call the park home, and the spring and autumn migrations make it among the most valuable ornithological regions of Europe. Due to Croatia's very strong environmental preservation laws, this extraordinary natural asset remains in its original pristine state. Enjoy free time at Skradinski Buk to hike, or wear a swimsuit under you clothing if you want to take a quick dip. Reboard the motorcoach and relax on the return to port.
