Experience the history and beauty of this artistic and cultural capital of southern Spain. Your tour begins with a 105 minute scenic motorcoach ride from Cadiz to Seville's historic monumental complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first stop is the beautiful gothic 15th century Cathedral de Seville. Walk through its golden interior and see its bountiful works of art and patio of orange trees with a Moorish fountain. Continue to the picturesque Barrio de Santa Cruz, famous for its winding narrow streets, white-washed buildings, and peaceful plazas. Visit the Casa de Pilatos, a 15th century Palace and home to one of the largest azulejo (Spanish glazed tiles) collections in the world. Enjoy a stroll before your delicious three-course lunch menu. Then, return to your motorcoach for a panoramic view and brief photo stop at your final destination, La Plaza de España.
Special Notes:
The drive between Cadiz and Seville is approximately 1.75 hours each way. Flash photos are not permitted in the Cathedral. On Sundays and Catholic holidays, the Cathedral of Seville will be visited from the outside only; interior can be visited after 02:30PM.Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
