El Totoral
Nestled among a landscape of rolling hills, this rural village may be best known for its colonial style church dating back to 1815. Recognized as a National Monument, the Church of Our Lady of the Mercedes de Totoral holds an image of the Virgin of Mercy that was donated by Casimiro Marcó del Pont, Chile's last Spanish Governor in 1817.

El Quisco
Located in Chile's central coast, El Quisco is a popular summer resort that forms a part of "Coast of Poets, a cultural space named for four renowned Chilean poets: Pabli Neruda, Vicente Huidobro, Violeta Parra and Nicanor Parra.

Have your camera handy during your drive through San Antonio and into the countryside. And a photo stop near the popular resort of Algarrobo affords wonderful views over Algarrobo Bay.

While visiting El Quisco, you'll have the option to visit the resort's club and enjoy a light refreshment.

Browse the handicraft market in El Totoral and discover artisan creations such as leather goods, clothing, macramé quilts as well as Chilean sweets, cheeses and "mistelas," a local drink made of wine, water, sugar, and cinnamon.

After taking in the highlights of San Antonio, you'll venture out into the countryside and see charming villages and resort communities.
