Enjoy sampling some of Santa Barbara County's top wines and also a visit to the charming Danish community of Solvang!  Your guided tour will leave Santa Barbara, along a scenic drive winding into the Santa Ynez Valley.  Enjoy the scenic beauty of the dramatic mountains and gorgeous countryside as you make your way to the two selected wineries. 
 
This full day tour takes in the best of the area with visits to two of Santa Barbara's premier wineries and a visit to the one of a kind, idyllic Danish enclave of Solvang with its unique shops and boutiques.  Founded in 1911 by a group of Danish settlers, this charming town boasts a downtown area built in "all-Dnish architectural style", complete with half-timbered walls, tile, simulated thatch roofs and winding sidewalks.  You will have time here to independently explore the souvenir stores, Danish bakeries and unique boutique shops that line the streets.  As lunch is your own responsibility, you can choose from the many gourmet cafes and restaurants. And, don't forget to save room for a Danish aebleskiver before the bus departs!  You have a full 2 hours to shop and relax.
 
Enjoy quiet time or the beautiful scenery on the way back to the ship.
