WHAT YOU WILL VISIT

Cable Cars
Hop aboard the only national historic landmark that moves. The iconic cable cars are ideally suited for 'the city,' climbing and descending the world-famous hills along cables buried beneath the tracks. We'll take the California Street line - which is the least crowded and offers the best views as it summits Nob Hill. Greet the gripman who operates the brake and engages the cable with the mechanical grip. Then have a seat or stand and hang on to a handle or strap. As the bells clang, get ready to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience - with the bustling city whizzing by and its breathtaking waterfront panoramas coming into view!

North Beach
This eclectic neighborhood, historically home to the city's Italian population, became a favorite of the Beatniks – countercultural authors, poets and musicians - during the 1950s and 1960s. Today these charming streets feature Italian trattoria and butcher shops alongside the bookstores and bars where the Beat Generation hung out.

Tosca Café
Step inside and step back in time, imagining the charged atmosphere and political debates of decades past, fueled by cocktails or coffee. We suggest getting in the spirit by indulging in both, as you enjoy an Irish coffee. This beverage, introduced to America in San Francisco, combines Irish whiskey with coffee and whipped cream. Settle in with your drink and enjoy a serving of antipasto, a traditional Italian platter of cured meats, cheeses and olives.

Bluxome Street Winery
You don't have to drive to wine country to enjoy the best of California. Bluxome has been producing chardonnays, pinot noirs and other varieties in San Francisco for over 100 years. You can view their full-scale production facility, then relax in the elegant tasting room to sample some wines. Afterward, explore the surrounding SOMA (South of Market) district. Once dominated by warehouses and factories, following San Francisco's real estate boom, tech companies, residential lofts, world-class restaurants and trendy boutiques have taken root here.

Treasure Island
Your last stop is this lookout at the foot of the Bay Bridge. With breathtaking views in all directions, you'll truly discover why so many have left their hearts in San Francisco.
