What you will visit:

The Golden Gate Bridge (walking tour)
Admired for its magnitude and graceful beauty, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge took over four years to build and was completed in 1937. Its two towers, painted "international orange," rise an impressive 746 feet, 191 feet taller than the Washington Monument.
Sausalito is a quaint little town known as the 'Venice of California.' Located north of San Francisco, it hugs the hills above San Francisco Bay. Named by 18th-century Spanish explorers for the "little willow" trees (saucalito) found in abundance on the banks of its streams, Sausalito covers a mere two and one half miles and boasts spectacular waterfront views. Enjoy free time to browse in the boutiques, art galleries, and arts and craft shops along the waterfront.

San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace
Located on the city's Embarcadero, the 65,000-square-foot food emporium's strategic location at the foot of Market Street occupies a space that was once the primary portal to the city. Opened in 1898, the Ferry Building was the focal point for anyone arriving by ferry. It declined in the 1950s, and it wasn't until 2003 that the landmark reopened, after an extensive restoration, as a world-class public food market.
What you'll see along the way:
One of America's most picturesque cities, San Francisco is famed for its cable cars, fog-enshrined bridge, 43 hills, a delightful mix of Victorian architecture and free-spirited charms, plus all the hustle and bustle of a world-class city. "The City by the Bay" has it all and isn't afraid to show it.
Photo Opportunity:

Vista Point / Golden Gate Bridge
Stop at Vista Point, the northern part of the Golden Gate Bridge, for a brief photo stop to memorialize what is arguably the most photographed bridge in the world. Capture its majesty on film as well as views of the bay, city skyline, Alcatraz, and Angel Island and Yerba Buena Island, two islands situated in the San Francisco Bay.

Ferry Ride
You'll want to have your camera at the ready during your ferry ride from Sausalito to Market Street. You'll be treated to captivating views of the cityscape and of the dark mystique of Alcatraz, "The Rock."
