Designed for those who wish to see the sights with little or no walking, this half-day narrated tour of San Francisco is sure to offer a glimpse into its many fascinating sights. Your land and sea tour begins with a cruise across the Bay, under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges and around 'the Rock,' aka Alcatraz. Dating back to 1868, the 22-acre island is best known as a notorious federal prison, home to criminals like mobster Al Capone, Robert Franklin Stroud (the Birdman of Alcatraz) and George 'Machine Gun' Kelly. After touring the bay, you'll board a coach and cross the 746-foot-high Golden Gate Bridge. You can take in its immense beauty with a stop at Vista Point overlooking San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Photos taken, your sightseeing tour continues past Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardeli Square and ends at the Embarcadero.
