What you will visit:
San Francisco
One of America's most picturesque cities, San Francisco is famed for its cable cars, fog-enshrined bridge, 43 hills, a delightful mix of Victorian architecture and free-spirited charms, plus all the hustle and bustle of a world-class city. "The City by the Bay" has it all and isn't afraid to show it.
Golden Gate Park (free time)
A lush park that runs more than three miles long and covers more than 1,000 square acres, Golden Gate Park is replete with museums, gardens and attractions that help define San Francisco's character. Highlights include the Japanese Tea Gardens, MH De Young Museum, a state-of-the-art facility that integrates art, architecture and the natural landscape, and the California Academy of Sciences.
What you will see along the way:
Your half-day tour begins when you board your motorcoach for a scenic drive along the Embarcadero, the eastern waterfront and roadway of the Port of San Francisco. You'll drive past Ghirardelli Square, once home to the world-famous chocolate factory, and the bustling Fisherman's Wharf. You'll also pass the Palace of Fine Arts, the last remaining building from the Panama Pacific International Exhibition in 1915. Drive past a nostalgic row of Victorian homes en route to Golden Gate Park and conclude with views of famed Market Street.
Photo Opportunities:
Golden Gate Bridge
Arguably the most photographed bridge in the world, the orange-vermillion painted Golden Gate Bridge is admired for its magnitude and graceful beauty. The bridge took over four years to build and was completed in 1937. The Golden Gate Bridge spans tidal currents, ocean waves, and battering winds to connect the City by the Bay with the Redwood Empire to the north.

Twin Peaks
At the geographic center of San Francisco, Twin Peaks has two identical summits that stand at an elevation of about 922 feet, the second-highest in San Francisco. Weather permitting, you'll fill your camera with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, once home to an infamous prison, as well as Angel Island and Yerba Buena Island, two islands located in the San Francisco Bay.
Lands End
At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, you'll find yourself on a winding trail surrounded by wildflowers with breathtaking vistas at every turn. The Spanish name for Lands End is "Point Lobos," for the many "lobos marinos" (sea lions) that can be seen off its rocky shores.
