A half-day of discovery awaits on this fascinating tour that introduces you to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and the "The Rock," the infamous prison on Alcatraz Island. Begin with a motorcoach drive along the Embarcadero, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Stop at Vista Point, the northern part of the Golden Gate Bridge, to photograph its magnitude and grace. Continue your tour as you enjoy a scenic drive past Fisherman's Wharf, en route to the Alcatraz Ferry. Upon arriving on "The Rock," a national-park ranger will provide an introduction to the prison. Then, set off on a self-guided audio tour through the jail's spooky facilities. On your tour, you can step into the small cells, snap a few photos and view a documentary on the history of Alcatraz. At the conclusion of the tour, take the ferry back to Alcatraz Landing, located on the next pier to your ship.

The tour is non-refundable unless cancelled 10 days prior to the call at San Francisco.The Island can be congested based on activity in the city en route to Alcatraz. The tour guide may adjust times as need to ensure all content on the tour is covered.Passengers may have to walk from the pier to the ferry boarding location for Alcatraz. Your tour fee includes the $31 National Park Service Entry Fee. Tour has a limited availability and passengers are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
