WHAT YOU VISIT
Rotterdam
Your driver/guide will pick you up at the pier and once inside the open-air tuk-tuk. Once aboard, you'll head to the other side of the Maas for great views of your ship. Some of the highlights of your city tour include the Central Station, famous for its futuristic architecture; and the Coolsingel, Rotterdam's main shopping street that was built atop a canal. Soon, your tuk-tuk will stop at the Markthal for independent sightseeing. During your free time here, you can stroll from souvenirs to food stands or visit the nearby cube houses famed for their tilted design perched on a hexagonal pole.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Often compared to an airplane hangar, the Markthal is not just an indoor market hall-among its 17,000-square-foot space are 228 apartments and a parking garage for over a thousand cars. Once inside, be sure to get a close up of the vividly colored ceiling tiles-perforated aluminum panels featuring flowers and insects based on those found in 17th century Dutch paintings.
SHOPPING
Foodies will enjoy browsing through the many food stalls in the Markthal or sitting down in one of the cafés and purchasing a local delicacy such as a slice of appeltaart.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As you make your way around the country's second largest city, it's interesting to note that Rotterdam was razed during World War II and rose from the ashes to become a modern city with its eyes on the future.

Please note that from 20:00 hours (18:00 on Sundays) the free time will be at the Witte de Withstraat instead of the Markthal, tour program will be reversed.
