Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a scenic drive to Keukenhof in the town of Lisse. En route, you'll travel through a lowland countryside dotted with farms and canals.
Upon arriving at Keukenhof Gardens, you're free to wander among the themed gardens and view rare and exotic tulips as well as hyacinths and narcissi. This 77-acre park was once the 'kitchen garden' for the nearby Teylingen Castle. Today, the annual Keukenhof Tulip Festival is the largest display of tulips in the world with over seven million blooms.
You'll also have the opportunity to snap a photo or two of the Groningen Windmill, a traditional windmill located inside the Keukenhof.
Special Notes:
During the last weeks of the tulip season there are less flowers blooming. However, there will still be a rich variety of flowers on show in the garden's pavilions.Teylingen Castle will not be seen or visited on this tour.
