Board your air-conditioned transportation for a brief, scenic drive to the semi-submarine docking area. The glass-bottom boat offers fantastic underwater views usually only seen by scuba divers, but you will ride in total air-conditioned comfort and never get wet! As you float below the waterline, a guide provides commentary about the marine life and helps you to identify specific species. Breathtakingly beautiful coral formations, living reefs, and rainbow colored tropical fish make amazing photographs and lasting memories.

Then, re-board your transportation in route to the center of West End Village. Upon arrival, gather at a lovely meeting point built on stilts overlooking the water and enjoy complimentary Honduran coffee, lemonade, or iced tea. After the refreshing beverage, you will be given time to independently walk through the quaint streets of the village and soak up the local color and history.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Cameo Castle, a workshop where you may see master craftsmen creating both classic and modern cameos. Carved from coral and conch shells, these masterpieces are delicate and beautiful works of art. A gift shop is located on the premises and you can purchase these lovely keepsakes at factory direct prices.

At the completion of your tour, return along a scenic route.

Tour sequence may vary. There are nine steps to enter the glass bottom semi-sub. In the event the semi-sub cannot operate due to weather conditions, the boat portion of the tour may be substituted with a stop to the museum and institute of marine science with a reduction on the tour price.
