Board your air-conditioned transportation at the pier for a beautiful scenic drive to the Blue Harbor Tropical Arboretum. A natural showcase of 160 acres, the gardens offer a unique opportunity to stroll through forests of ferns, botanical gardens, fruit orchards and other tropical plants as well as the hydroponic farm (outside only). A naturalist guides your exploration of the grounds and offers commentary on the various plant species indigenous to the area. At a rest stop, enjoy water and delicious fresh fruit.

Continue to commune with nature at your next stop, a butterfly and tropical bird garden. Take a magical walk through an enclosed area that contains a wide variety of local butterflies. Learn about some of Honduras' most vibrant varieties of butterflies including helicopter, firecracker, sunset long wing, monarch, and queen. Learn about this delicate creature and its intricate life cycle. This garden is also home to tropical trees and plants rescued animals and exotic birds. Hummingbirds dart happily from blossom to blossom and you'll see colorful toucans and parrots flying free. You can have a photo taken with one of these birds or a small monkey sitting right on your arm! For an extra adventure experience in five minute walk you can reach the amazing hanging bridge in the jungle for a memorable picture!

A quick transfer to a West End Village is an opportunity to savor a delicious cup of Honduran coffee, lemonade or iced tea. Admire the dramatic waterfront vistas. Before leaving the village you will have free time to explore independently and to browse the shops filled with handcrafts and souvenirs.
A lovely drive takes you back to the pier.
