What you will visit:

The Museum of Opal and Minerals of Mexico
A cultural project founded by the Avilez Vitro brothers, members of an esteemed mining family, this fascinating interactive museum offers guided tours through four stations that are designed to represent different Mexican mine experiences: opal, silver, gold and quartz. In this unique sensory experience that recreates the sounds and feelings of being in an abandoned mine, don a lighted helmet and travel through replicated mineral mines set deep within an imaginary mountainside. You'll learn the different extraction processes of the gems and minerals.

Village of Playa Grande
Set within the picturesque countryside, the small, rustic community of Playa Grande welcomes guests to explore a simpler way of life. Your participation in this tour experience contributes to the refurbishing of its chapel, improvements of the local school, and infrastructure renovations.

Rio Bendito Fiesta
It's fiesta time! Enter through the large wooden doors into Rio Bendito, a tropical paradise that pays homage to Old Mexico. Here, the country fair atmosphere is alive with color, activity and the infectious tunes of roaming mariachi singers. You're free to enjoy the wonderful variety of offerings. Sip and savor a tequila tasting, try your hand at old-fashioned carnival games and win a prize, take a selfie with a friendly burro, and enjoy a tempting array of Mexican treats from churros to tacos and more available at your own expense.

What you will see along the way:
Puerto Vallarta blooms with artistic color and Mexico's warm charm. Known for its varied architecture, sparkling beaches and festive atmosphere, it welcomes you with an easy mix of man-made sights and natural beauty. Travel by motorcoach past an array of highlights then into the peaceful countryside to glimpse a truly unspoiled way of life.

Snacks:
At Rio Bendito, a wide array of treats and more substantial Mexican-style meals are available to purchase.

Shopping:
At the conclusion of your exploration at The Museum of Opal and Minerals of Mexico, step into the amply stocked gift shop for souvenirs, mementos, beautiful jewelry and craft items.

Special Notes:

The activities inside Rio Bendito are too numerous to fit into the description's guidelines, but in addition to the roaming singers, there are 10 carnival games with fun prizes, and virtual weddings can be conducted.
