WHAT YOU VISIT
Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral
Built between 1903 and 1987, it's easily Puerto Vallarta's most endearing landmark. Outside, the Church is flanked by two towers and topped by a crown, believed to be a replica of the tiara worn by Carlota, the mistress of Maximilian. While the interior boasts plain, white-washed walls, its richly detailed mouldings, stained glass windows and gilt-trimmed altar create a charming and intimate sacred site.

The Malecon
Peaceful and pretty with outstanding views of the ocean and Sierra Madre mountains, the Malecón is home to a bay full of beautiful yachts, great restaurants, pampering spas, live entertainment, and inviting shops and galleries.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
During your guided walk along the Malecón, you'll have time to stop at the "The Boy on the Seahorse." The 10-foot-tall statue depicts a naked boy wearing a cowboy hat, waving his hand as he rides a giant seahorse.

LUNCH
Sip and savor the perfect margarita and a number of Mexican favorites. The thirst-quenching tasting will be followed by a performance of folkloric dancers dancing the traditional mariachi and charro. You'll be rewarded with a Certificate of Experienced Tequila Taster. After the performance, handmade tortillas and different salsas are being prepared so you can learn how to do your own favorite tacos: meat, chicken, beans and of course quesadillas.

SHOPPING
Following lunch, you'll have free time to stroll the Malecón and browse the many shops that line the side promenade.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Known for its varied architecture, sparkling beaches and festive atmosphere, Puerto Vallarta welcomes you with an easy mix of man-made sights and natural beauty.
