Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

You'll begin your adventure at the pier where you'll board a catamaran and head north to the Marietas Islands and Banderas Bay. This area is a national marine sanctuary that features dramatic underwater caves and crystal-clear water, home to numerous species of birds and sea life, making it is a popular place to snorkel, scuba and kayak.

Upon arrival at the Marietas Islands, you'll embark on a guided tour of the island and its wildlife. Afterwards, you'll be given a safety briefing and outfitted with gear for snorkeling and kayaking. Enjoy a rainbow of vibrant tropical reef fish and explore the rocky caverns and archways along the Marietas Islands. Other sea mammals you're likely to see include giant manta rays, sea turtles, dolphins, and humpback whales (December through March).

Once back on board the vessel, enjoy a delicious lunch buffet with open bar en route back to Puerto Vallarta.

Special Notes:

Tour operation is dependent on sea and weather conditions. This tour will not operate on Mondays.
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up.

Whales sighting between December and March are common but cannot be guaranteed.
