Marina Vallarta 
The exquisite enclave of Marina Vallarta, nestled on the "Mexican Riviera," is noted for its glamorous atmosphere, stunning golf course and beautiful yachts that dot the harbor. Famous Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor owned property here and was one of the very first to buy a condo overlooking the marina. 
 
 
Galleria Dante 
Celebrating more than 20 years in Puerto Vallarta, Galleria Dante, located in the Old Town district, is a 6,000-square-foot art gallery show casing original works by contemporary artists and sculptors from all over Mexico as well as international artists. An eclectic collection of contemporary, classical and abstract art lines the walls of this exceptional gallery, which changes its exhibits on a regular basis-so even if you have visited before, there is always something new to appreciate. 
 
Isela Mariscal Gallery  
Displaying the works of the very best Mexican artists in a relaxed and colorful environment, Isela Mariscal Gallery is curated with vision and a true contribution to the growth of Puerto Vallarta's art scene. 
 
 
La Dulce Vista and Art Class 
The relaxed ambiance and scenic beauty of La Dulce Vista, a resort villa, makes it the perfect spot to get creative and make a beautiful work of your own. An instructor led art class teaches a unique method of finger painting that yields surprisingly beautiful results, even for those with no artistic experience. You'll get step-by-step instruction, a 10" by 10" ceramic tile that is used as your canvas, and paints that will help you create a masterpiece of your own. 
 
 
What you will see along the way: 
Your drive through Puerto Vallarta takes you into Marina Vallarta on the city's north side and along its sparkling marina. Continue into Viejo Vallarta (Old Vallarta), also known as the Romantic Zone, a busy section of Puerto Vallarta crammed with tiny cafes, lively restaurants and curio shops. Then, travel to La Dulce Vista through the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains.  
 
 
Snacks: 
While painting your work of art, enjoy a light snack of "queso fundido," a golden and delicious melted cheese dish served with crackers and white wine.

Special Notes:

Bring a hat, camera, sunscreen, towel, and swimsuit if you want to take a quick dip in the pool at the Villa. Bring cash for incidentals such as fresh guacamole and tortilla chips. The road up to the villa can be dusty and bumpy.
