An extreme adventure in the Sierra Madre forest! Take a high-speed launch to a remote beach where you'll ride a 4WD or a van and then a mule to your destination far inside the forest where you'll ford streams and toboggans, rappel down waterfalls, zipline high above the treetops on this all-day excursion. This active excursion takes place in a remote region that's remained pristine and unspoiled, with both scenic beauty and diverse ecological habitat for a true tropical paradise. Outfitted with helmet and harness, you'll splash through streams, trek on a forest hike, rappel through waterfalls into natural river pools, and soar 200 feet above the ground over the jungle foliage on a series of ziplines. Once back at base camp, we'll change into dry clothes and enjoy a snack before returning back to the ship.
Special Notes:
Tour availability is extremely limited. Book early to avoid disappointment. Guests must be at least 10 years old, weigh less than 250 pounds and be in excellent physical condition to participate. Terrain is rocky and rugged. Cameras present safety risks during ziplining and rappelling.Wear sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots, long pants and use insect repellent. Guests do get soaked - Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Cameras not permitted. Photo's available for purchase.
