One of the best ways to learn about the culture of a city is through its food. With a variety of fresh seafood, local beers, and artisanal bakeries, it is easy to see why Portland was crowned "America's Foodiest Small Town" in 2009 by "Bon Appétit" magazine. See why this small town is big on flavor as you embark on a 2-hour leisurely stroll through the charming Old Port and Surrounding Neighborhoods. Taste the talents of a myriad of hard working, local culinary artisans, showcasing locally sourced ingredients from the land and the sea. Depending on the day and departure time of the tour, you will visit 3 to 4 foodie hotspots. Tastes and visits include an award-winning brewery and bakery. Wear comfortable walking shoes and don't forget to bring your appetite and a camera to capture the sights. Your tour concludes in the heart of the Old Port where you may remain in town to enjoy a number of unique boutiques or return with your guide to the ship. All ages are encouraged to join the tour but only those 21 years old or order can sample beer at the brewery.

Special Notes:

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers. Many of the streets traversed are cobblestone. Guests must be 21 years or older to participate in the brewery tasting. In case of special event at the Shipyard Brewing Company, a visit to an alternative brewery will be made.
