DAY ONE
WHAT YOU VISIT
Shamwari Bayethe Luxury Tented Camp
Bayethe is pronounced 'by-ye-ti,' which translates to 'I salute you,' a warm African greeting. This tented paradise provides privacy and a feeling of seclusion with spectacular views of the African bush and each air-conditioned two-person tent includes luxurious amenities such as Wi-Fi, private deck and plunge pool, fireplace, mini-bar and more. Once you arrive, you'll be treated to a welcome drink, free time and high tea before embarking on a late afternoon safari. Thrill to the majesty of seeing wild animals in their natural environments from your seat in the four-wheel-drive open vehicle. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner end your first day.

DAY TWO
WHAT YOU VISIT
Shamwari Bayethe Luxury Tented Camp
Early morning and late afternoon safaris are led by rangers who will share their intimate knowledge of the reserve and their own expert insights to make each natural encounter a special event. Here, you can gain a true perspective of the fauna and flora indigenous to the region. Back at the lodge you have free time to enjoy relaxing, reading, spa treatments, swimming, a game walk, or you can visit one of the two Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries--the Ian Player Player Rhino Awareness Center or The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

DAY THREE
WHAT YOU VISIT
Shamwari Bayethe Luxury Tented Camp
A sunrise safari begins the day followed by a hearty breakfast. Then, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Durban where you'll rejoin your ship.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Witness the birds of prey, a herd of wild buffalo or spot one of the Big 5 from the comfort and safety of your open game viewing vehicle. In addition to spectacular game drives, Shamwari Private Game Reserve also offers professionally guided bush walks. Your guide can also point out animal tracks, dung, birds and can educate you on the area and its rich history.

MEALS
Your breakfasts, lunches and dinners are a tantalizing mix of fine cuisine prepared by top-class chefs.

Special Notes:

Notes:
The contents and order of activities in this program are subject to change by the lodge management without prior notice, due to the prevailing weather conditions and movement of dangerous wildlife on the Game Reserve.
During early morning game drives in open vehicles it can be a little cool. We recommend that guests take along a windbreaker. Guests are therefore advised not to forget their sunhats, sun block, sunglasses, as well as their cameras and binoculars. Please note that the game drive vehicles traverse over uneven terrain and that the game-drives can be "bumpy." This tour is therefore not recommended for guests with back problems. Tour not recommended for guests with wheelchairs or walking difficulties. Please consult physician before traveling. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed
