Come to know the Tasman Peninsula's striking natural beauty during this awe-inspiring half-day excursion that begins with a lovely, narrated drive past dense forest and rich terrain. Arrive at the rugged, cliff-bound eastern coast to view, depending on weather, either the Tasman Arch, a dramatic bridged chasm, or Devils Kitchen, a stark, rocky cleft in the shoreline. Snap photos of the Blowhole, a remarkable wave-worn crater through which waves burst as high as 10 meters. Visit Eaglehawk Neck, the narrow isthmus connecting the Tasman Peninsula with mainland Tasmania, to explore the famous dog line and meander through the old officers' quarters to get a sense of life on patrol. Marvel at the Tessellated Pavement, a stunning, flat expanse of "tiled" rock that looks manmade but is actually a rare result of erosion. Capture this incredible phenomenon and historic place in photos before enjoying a relaxing drive back to port as Tasmania's lush landscape fills the windows.
