Phang-Nga, James Bond Island Cruise & Panyi Island

Your tour begins as board your motorcoach for a scenic, 90-minute drive to Phang-Nga Bay. Surrounded by steep, forested mountains, Phang-Nga Bay is a wealth of beauty with a variety of dramatic limestone islands and islets.

You'll board a motor cruiser for a tour around the bay, and witness sheer limestone cliffs that jut vertically out of the emerald green water. Along your route is Khao Ping Gun Island, also known as James Bond Island, the setting for the famous final scene of the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. The island is dominated by its towering, fractured cliff, with each slab of rock leaning against the other. While circumnavigating the islands, keep your camera handy for nearby Koh Tapu, a dramatic feature that rises out of the waters in front of James Bond Island and resembles a giant spike driven into the sea.

Next, you'll make your way to Koh Panyi Island, home to a traditional Muslim fishing village built on stilts over the waters of Phang-Nga Bay. Wooden bridges connect the village's houses, its mosque and school, with floating baskets set around the village to keep fish in the water. You're free to explore the Panyi island's many local stalls and shops, before returning back to local pier.

Enjoy a packed lunch box at a local restaurant on Panyi island before shopping at a reputable store for crafts, Thai cotton & silk, semi-precious stones, pearls and other souvenirs that concludes this all-day tour.

Not recommended for passengers with limited mobility; embarking and debarking the vessel requires ducking under vessel roof and steps. Seats on the boat are not fixed to the bottom ground of the boat.
