WHAT YOU VISIT
Champs-Elysees
The Champs-Elysees runs from the place de la Concorde to the place Charles de Gaulle, which is known as L'Etoile (the star) because of the 12 busy avenues that radiate out from it. Created in 1670, during the reign of Louis XIV, the street was redesigned in 1836 by Baron Georges-Eugene Haussmann and soon gained a glamorous reputation as a meeting place for aristocrats, bankers and industrialists, who were drawn to its luxury hotels and mansions.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Soaring 1,063 feet high, the wrought iron lattice masterpiece known as the Eiffel Tower is undoubtedly the iconic symbol of Paris. Built for the 1889 World's Fair to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution, the 1,023-foot-tall tower was designed as a temporary structure. Today, this architectural wonder is recognized as the quintessential symbol of Paris and a celebration to the brilliance of industrial engineering.

LUNCH
Take a seat at the restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower for a delicious French lunch and marvel at the tower's elaborate metal design (maybe you'll be able to count the two million rivets that hold the girders together!).

SHOPPING
Featuring the highest concentration of luxury boutiques in the French capital, the Champs-Elysees is the ultimate place for those looking for high-end ready-to-wear fashion, accessories and leading French brands.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Once in your seat, your journey into the City of Lights via the motorway takes you through a landscape of city and country.
