What you will visit:

Ring of Brodgar:
Set on the Ness of Brodgar, a strip of land between the lochs of Harray and Stenness, this monument is the third largest stone circle in the British Isles. The last of the great Neolithic monuments built on the ness, the Ring of Brodgar is an iconic site that represents Orkney's ancient heritage. Part of the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site, the monument's age is uncertain, but it is assumed that this enormous ceremonial site, with 27 of the original 60 stones, date to 2700 B.C

What you will see along the way:

Standing Stones of Stenness
As you travel through the magnificent landscapes of Neolithic Orkney, gaze out your motorcoach window onto the Standing Stones of Stenness, a spellbinding sight visible for miles. This promontory features several circles of vertical stones standing approximately 19 feet tall and originally laid out in an ellipse formation, dating back to 3300 B.C.

Photo Opportunity:
From your position towering above the rugged coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, you will find some of the islands' most breathtaking scenery. On a clear day, you can also see the Old Man of Hoy sea stack and the Scottish mainland in the distance.
Cliffs of Yesnaby
Stop to photograph the Cliffs of Yesnaby, towering sandstone cliffs, which loom dramatically over turbulent waves that thunder and crash into secret caves.

Special Notes:

This tour is guided in French

Passengers must follow the guides instructions at Yesnaby, as the ground is lose and the cliffs are prone to collapsing.

Please note there is no toilet stop on this tour or usable toilets inside motor coaches.
