Nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts will love exploring two of Jamaica's most spectacular terrestrial wonders on a tour that takes you deep underground and over a plunging waterfall. Board your air-conditioned transportation for a scenic drive to Green Grotto Caves in Discovery Bay. Greet your guide, don a protective hard hat, and explore the caverns' interconnecting passages, chambers, light holes, stalactites, stalagmites, and subterranean lake, deep within the core. Then travel to Dunn's River Falls. Approximately 600 feet high, sparkling water cascades over natural stepping platforms that allow you to climb from the bottom to the top. Trained waterfall guides will lead you on this wet and wild climb. For visitors who prefer not to get in the water, a walkway along the side of the falls allows you to take full advantage of the experience.
Special Notes:
Minimum age to participate is 3 years old. Children must be a minimum of 3 feet in height to climb Dunn's River Falls. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. A hard hat with sanitary liner is provided at the start of your cave tour. Your underground tour travels paved paths and uneven surfaces with gravel and rocks. Some areas require you to bend at the knees to negotiate small passages. There are 65 steps at the caves and 185 steps at Dunn's River Falls and the Falls can be very slippery in places. Wear sturdy rubber soled shoes or rent them shoreside. Jumping from the falls is not permitted. Bring a swimsuit and towel; storage lockers are available at the falls for a nominal fee. The photo service at Dunn's River Falls is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line or tour operator.
