This fabulous day trip meanders through a scattering of delightful villages along the French Riviera, starting with an engaging 45-minute motorcoach ride from the harbor at Monte Carlo, along the stunning Mediterranean costal road.
Driving direction the lovely Italian coast you will reach the town of Menton. This magical village is the last one you hit before arriving at the Italian border and with 45 minutes of free time you will be able to explore this wonderful year-round resort which boasts beautiful beaches and claims to possess the warmest climate on the Riviera. This tiny fishing village is twinned with Laguna Beach and is as sunny as its Californian counterpart. Stroll the promenade which snakes around the charming little harbor, savoring the many shops and cafes.
Moving to more spectacular higher ground, enjoy the panoramic view.
We will stop at the medieval village of Eze, which literally has to be seen to be believed. Have your cameras at the ready as you will enjoy a short stop below the well-preserved medieval village of Eze, perched on a narrow rocky peak overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy some free time to shop for perfume at one of the perfume factories near the village.
A 30 minutes' drive ride will take you to Nice. Your guide will be on hand to make sure that you don't miss any sights of interest before arriving at , the lively city of Nice, a fifteen minute drive around the harbor will show you the beauty of the capital of the French Riviera.
Then it's time for an hour journey back to the tender pier in Monte Carlo along the amazing costal road, passing by the villages of Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu, no doubt laden with souvenirs, perfume for that special someone and happy memories of this delightful coastline and villages.
