Scenic Harbor Cruise

With the majestic Sierra Madre mountain range in the background, cruise along the sparkling coastline for views of outer islands and oceanfront properties. In the distance, the world's highest lighthouse, El Faro, peacefully stands guard over this picture-perfect scene. Discover the indigenous flora and fauna and keep a lookout for such wildlife as pelicans, cormorants, frigate birds and playful sea lions.

What you will see along the way:

On your relaxed and scenic boat ride, your tour guide will provide informative narration of the area's key points of interest, pirate and sea history of Mazatlan. Take in a series of pretty offshore islands presided over by one of the world's tallest lighthouses situated on a natural hill where the waters of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez meet. Discover the unique flora and fauna of the tropical jungle and keep a lookout for such wildlife as pelicans, cormorants, frigate birds and playful sea lions.

The Mazatlan lighthouse, El Faro, was first built in 1879. Perched on a hilltop some 515 feet (157 meters) high overlooking Mazatlan, it is the second-highest lighthouse in the world.
