Your journey begins at the pier where you'll board your air-conditioned motorcoach and travel from Lahaina Harbor to Iao Valley via Highway 380, Kahului and Wailuku Town. We'll pass through Kepaniwai Park, the site of Kamehameha's victory against Maui's army.

In Iao Valley, enjoy a guided drive through Maui's "Valley of the Kings" to Iao Valley State Park. Stroll the path that offers stunning views of the lush valley and leads to a scenic overlook of The Needle, the sacred volcanic pinnacle that rises from the valley floor.

The stunning Maui Ocean Center is devoted to the rich marine life found in the waters of the Hawaiian Islands. You'll have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to explore the park. See dozens of amazing exhibits include the Living Reef, a Marine Mammal Discovery Center, a Touch Pool, and the Living Journey where you can walk through a 54-foot underwater transparent tube surrounded by all matter of marine life, including a rainbow of tropical fish, sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks, the great hunters of the sea, swimming overhead. You'll have time to visit the gift shop, which offers a wide range of souvenirs before returning to the ship.

The content of this tour is identical to JHM-225. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for tour JHM-225. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory.

Passengers with disabilities must contact the onboard Tour Office at least 48 hours prior to the excursion to ensure arrangements can be made to meet their particular needs.

The lift on the vehicle can accommodate a maximum weight of 500lbs; maximum wheelchair lift width is 30 inches.

Passengers must negotiate some steps in walking up to the overlook; the Needle may be viewed from your motorcoach.
