What you will visit:

Haleakala Bicycle Adventure
An exciting 14-mile bike-riding adventure down the slopes of historic Haleakala begins at a 6,500-foot-elevation staging area. Your downhill pedaling tour will be led by knowledgeable guides who provide an overview of Haleakala's extensive history, its geology, and flora and fauna indigenous to Maui. Coast down the mountainous slopes on paved roads, enjoy spectacular views through the switchbacks of Haleakala Ranch and the upcountry town of Kula, and end in the sleepy little town of Hali'i Maile. Suitable for confident riders. Equipment and helmet provided. Dress in layers for comfort.

What you will see along the way:
Truly magnificent views, dramatic vistas and lush vegetation are the hallmarks of historic Haleakala National Park in Maui. Towering over the island of Maui and visible from just about any point, Haleakala Crater is a force of nature in every sense. While travelling under your own power, on a downhill slope, keep a lookout for many endangered species of flora and fauna, including the ahinahina (silversword) flower and the nene (Hawaiian goose), which is the state bird. The switchbacks of Haleakala Ranch, the upcountry town of Kula and the sleepy little town of Hali'i Maile provide an overview of the island's varied scenery.

Refresh during your cycling expedition with a granola bar, chips, coffee and juice.

Special Notes:
