A perfect half-day tour for passengers who are due to fly, you will enjoy a unique opportunity to visit the Royal Borough of Windsor, one of Britain's most beautiful and historic destinations.

After collecting your luggage, you will board the motor coach at Southampton Docks for a scenic drive through England's most beautiful countryside. Everything you've seen in photographs will come to life; the hedgerows, the thatched cottages and rolling green fields will be a feast for the eyes.

Your guide will narrate your tour as you head to Windsor Great Park, 1,000 glorious acres of stunning woodland. As you approach the town of Windsor enjoy a passing photo opportunity of the Long Walk, a spectacular 3 mile long, tree lined avenue that begins at the George VI gateway outside Windsor Castle and follows a straight pathway all the way to a magnificent Copper Horse Statue which depicts King George III riding on horseback. This iconic view was most recently seen during the Royal wedding between Prince Harry and Megan Markle, where the Regal newlyweds paraded down the Long Walk in an Ascot Landau carriage.

Continuing to the town of Windsor, you will be given the opportunity of free time to explore.Windsor town was established back in the Middle Ages and is now crowned by the majestic Windsor Castle. Browse the many shops and boutiques that line the quiet streets of this ancient town as well as visiting the Windsor railway station which opened in 1849, now part rail station and part shopping arcade.

After your free time, re-board your coach for the short transfer to Old Windsor and Eton. Your coach will park just outside of this quaint area so that you can walk down the narrow streets and view the shops and beautiful views along the river Thames. Your guide will lead you to Eton bridge where you will be given an insight to the local area, learn about Eton College the school that educated Royals Prince William and Prince Harry, David Cameron (Ex-British Prime Minister), Ian Fleming (Author of James Bond stories), and Hugh Laurie (Actor) to list a few, hear the history of Windsor Castle and how it was once called the Castle of Clewer, learn about the Magna Carter (c.1200 AD) and of course stories of the Black Plague that infected London and surrounding areas in 1665.

When you have finished strolling around this spectacular area, re-board your motor coach for a short journey to the airport.
