What you will visit:

Veragua Rainforest Eco Adventure
A world-class facility designed to enlighten and educate on the biodiversity of the Costa Rican Rainforest, Veragua Rainforest is surrounded by the largest and least explored national park in Central America, La Amistad (Friendship). Ride on an aerial tram to admire 300-year-old trees and enjoy fantastic endless views of the rainforest as you descend the mountain onto the river bank, where you will disembark and have your choice of activities. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the "Trail of the Giants," so named for the gigantic trees that line the trails, or hike to the two-tiered Puma Waterfall. Then visit snake, frog and butterfly exhibits and an authentic research laboratory.

Costa Rica's topography is one of the most diverse in the world. Rolling hills, high mountains, plains, valleys and riverbeds are just some of the gorgeous vistas. Travel through stunning scenery and past emblematic rural towns and villages that provide a glimpse into the diverse and colorful lives of the locals. Arrive at the Veragua Rainforest Eco Adventure, buried deep in the forest of Costa Rica.

Special Notes:

Tour sequence may vary. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring rain gear, a hat, binoculars and a camera. Should you choose to see the waterfall, there are 350 stairs on the round-trip hike for this attraction, and you need to be able to walk on uneven terrain. The optional walk of the Trail of the Giants is a wooden, flat trail along the river bank.
Note: This tour is accessible. Guests using a wheelchair should book LIO-206. Family members and friends traveling with a guest using a wheelchair should book this tour LIO-205. You will travel together. Collapsible wheelchairs can be stored on the transportation.
