Rainforest Aerial Tram
Journey to a research facility near Braulio Carrillo National Park, where you'll glide through the canopy in an aerial tram, with intimate views of the forest from the treetops. The rainforest canopy is home to abundant wildlife and to two thirds of Costa Rica's rainforest species. Towering trees, giant ferns, bursts of color, and birdlife make up a large part of this incredible hanging garden. A naturalist guide will accompany you on your ride, explaining the delicate balance of the rainforest and pointing out the wildlife within this intricate ecosystem.

What you will see along the way:
Board your air-conditioned transportation for an approximately three-hour drive to the rainforest tram site located near Braulio Carrillo National Park, with views of banana, pineapple and palm-oil plantations along the way. From the aerial tram, take in a bird's-eye view of this formerly inaccessible area and then, on your forest nature walk, admire the colorful flora and fauna up close.

Special Notes:

Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots. Bring a hat, rain gear, camera, and binoculars. Paths are uneven and may be slick due to rain. There are six passengers plus a guide in each gondola. Tour may operate in reverse order with lunch being served first. Wildlife sightings, while common, are not guaranteed.
