Board your air-conditioned transportation for the drive through rural Costa Rica to Veragua Rainforest Reserve in the hills overlooking Limon. This ecological paradise, nestled in the heart of the tropical rainforest, is host to a unique experience and the perfect adrenaline shot. Upon arrival at the reception area, expert guides will outfit you with a harness and your safety gear. You will have an orientation and safety briefing before following your guides to the first platform where you glide silently through the rainforest on the dual-line safety system. Enjoy uninterrupted views of virgin rainforest, which stretches as far as the eye can see.

Traverse over streams and through the canopy of the rainforest. The longest traverse is almost two football fields in length and the highest point is approximately 150 feet above the forest floor! You will navigate ten traverses through the tall trees of this virgin rainforest and return safely back to the ground. Once back on terra firma, take a short walk through the jungle to the reception area. Here, you have time to visit the gift shop and commemorate this unique rainforest experience before heading back to the ship only 45 minutes away. You will not soon forget this once in a lifetime experience.

Special Notes:

This most active excursion is suitable only for passengers in good physical condition. Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. Bring insect repellent and rain protection. The minimum age to participate is 5 years old and the maximum weight limit is 270 pounds. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. The photo service at some venues is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line or tour operator. Any photos purchased from this service will be the passengers' responsibility.
