Parque Vargas
Limon's picturesque 115-year-old palm-lined seaside park boasts brightly colored tropical flowers, a quaint octagonal gazebo, monuments commemorating Limon's history, and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Uvita Island where Christopher Columbus landed in 1502 on his fourth voyage.
Pasaje Cristal
This informal outdoor art exhibit displays paintings, sculptures, and other expressions from local Costa Rican artists.
United Fruit Company
Founded in 1899 by American entrepreneurs Minor Keith and Andrew Preston to transport bananas to the U.S., the company was acquired by Chiquita Brands International in 1984. The former building plays host to an interactive Caribbean gastronomical experience. Once inside, you'll learn how to prepare traditional Caribbean cuisine such as a beef hand pie called a "pati," gallo pinto" (rice and beans) and "plantintá," a sweet tart made with plantains.

From the sloths and the spectacled owls that live in the trees inside Parque Vargas and the flourish of dancers at Playa Bonita to the views of Uvita Island, your camera will be working overtime.
