After a safety briefing and an orientation to your equipment, set off caravan-style through the glassine waters to admire the vibrant rainforest. With the help of your naturalist guide, learn the different types of unique tropical plants and indigenous animals and birds from a uniquely up-close perspective. Kayaking is a wonderful option for those wishing to explore Costa Rica's quiet beauty and its magnificent biodiversity.

What you will see along the way:
Gently paddling through the waters of a jungle lagoon for 1.5 hours, take in the beauty and tranquility of this tropical paradise. The area receives heavy annual rainfall, which nurtures an incredible array of native flora and fauna. Stunning bursts of color are seen in blooming flowers, orchids and water lilies, while the trees shelter exotic birdlife, monkeys, sloths and toucans. Bring your camera for memorable photographs.

Bring a change of clothes and towel. Wear a hat and sturdy shoes -these will get wet. Bring insect repellent; wear sunscreen. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Maximum weight is 250. Minimum height is 4. Minimum age is 8.
