A tour in a tuk-tuk is a fun and easy way to explore La Coruna. Hop inside your waiting tuk-tuk at the pier and meet the city the Romans believed was founded by Hercules over 2,000 years ago. Your driver/guide will travel down Marina Avenue and around the peninsula past the 16th century San Antón Castle to the Tower of Hercules. Located at the harbor's entrance on a 57-meter-high rock (187-foot-high), the city's most important landmark is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only fully preserved Roman lighthouse still in use. Then it's on past Domus Museum, a science museum dedicated to the human being, and the beaches of Orzan and Riazor where Picasso would visit when he spent his early years in La Coruna. Finally, a ride through the cobbled streets of Old Town takes you back to the ship.
Special Notes:
