Colorful stalls laden with cheeses, fish, and locally pressed olive oil and overflowing with a rainbow of fruits, vegetables and wildflowers make this marketplace at Kotor a paradise for foodies. Friendly vendors and producers come from along the coast and the mountainous regions to peddle their wares to local shoppers at this market situated just outside the town's stone walls. Home-grown goodies and delicacies abound, and traders are quick to offer samples of sir, a smoked cheese studded with nuts, and pršut (smoke-dried ham), two delicacies of the region.

Kotor
Nestled on the coast of Montenegro, beautiful Kotor, with a magnificently preserved old city built over the 13th and 14th centuries, showcases exceptional medieval architecture within its Venetian stone walls. Cobblestone streets wind through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which boasts the St. Tryphon Cathedral built in 1166, atmospheric marketplaces, sunny cafes and grand palaces built by the mercantile families of the city's past – all surrounded by stunning views and overlooking the sparkling bay.

Classic Montenegrin cuisine will be prepared in a hands-on demonstration, then enjoy a wonderfully fresh and delicious lunch. Montenegro's cuisine varies geographically with the coastal area but reflects a traditional Mediterranean style with plenty of fresh seafood, fragrant herbs and fine olive oil.
