From the skies, enjoy breathtaking views of the Kohala Mountains and along the Kohala coastline to offer the most visually stunning scenery on the Big Island. The area was favored by Hawaiian royalty, and for good reason. The emerald green vegetation against the shimmering black-sand beaches, onyx lava fields and deep blue ocean waters is visually stunning.

What you will see along the way:
Look down at the sun-drenched landscapes of the Kohala Coast in the northwest portion of the Big Island and marvel at the waterfall cascades that plummet thousands of feet into the rainforest below. The Kohala Coast is also home to the island's finest resorts and golf courses, which carve their way into the rugged red lava rock fields and black lava flows that are a result of centuries-old volcanic eruptions.

Flight time is 50 minutes.

Weight surcharge ($179.95) may apply on this flight. Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as passenger safety and comfort, the helicopter companies have advised that guests weighing 260 lbs. or more (fully clothed) will be assessed the weight surcharge to reserve adequate space onboard the helicopter. Passengers weighing 260 lbs. or more should reserve an extra surcharge ticket and, once onboard, contact the Tour Office and your account will be adjusted to reflect the cost of the surcharge only.

Helicopter excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
