Set aside as a fully protected wilderness area in 1978, Misty Fjords National Monument encompasses more than two million acres. Discover sheer granite cliffs, 1,000-foot cascading waterfalls, glistening lakes and low-hanging mists on your flight over land of incredible natural beauty and rugged grandeur. Next you'll experience the thrill of a water landing at the remote George Inlet Lodge, an early 1900s cannery bunkhouse. Snack on smoked salmon and sip white wine or Alaskan Amber beer as your host entertains you with stories of Ketchikan and the wilderness lifestyle. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat succulent Dungeness crab feast, complete with fresh salad and cheesecake smothered in Alaska blueberries. End your day with a scenic coastal drive back to the pier.

Special Notes:

Tour may operate in reverse order. Vegetarian and non-crab options are available. Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as passenger safety and comfort, the airline has advised that guests weighing 250 lbs. or more (fully clothed) will be assessed a weight surcharge of $168. In any case where the necessity of the surcharge is verified, it will be paid directly to the tour operator just prior to the flight departure. Shoes with non-skid soles are recommended. This flight has no weight surcharge. Carry-on bags are not allowed and there is limited secure storage at the hangar. Aircraft fly no higher than 4,000 feet. Oxygen for personal use is allowed but must be in the form of an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator that can be secured to the user's body.Your flight route is dependent on the day's weather conditions - you may see New Eddystone Rock and Big Goat Lake to the south or Neets Bay and Bell Island Hot Springs to the north.

Flightseeing excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
