Set aside as a fully protected wilderness area in 1978, Misty Fjords National Monument encompasses more than two million acres. Discover sheer granite cliffs, 1,000-foot cascading waterfalls, glistening lakes and low-hanging mists on your flight. Then marvel at the lush forests of spruce, hemlock and cedar clinging to snowcapped peaks, in this land of incredible natural beauty and rugged grandeur.
Special Notes:
Shoes with non-skid soles are recommended. Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as passenger safety and comfort, the airline has advised that guests weighing 250 lbs. or more (fully clothed) will be assessed a weight surcharge of $168. In any case where the necessity of the surcharge is verified, it will be paid directly to the tour operator just prior to the flight departure.Carry-on bags are not allowed and there is limited secure storage at the hangar. Aircraft fly no higher than 4,000 feet. Oxygen for personal use is allowed but must be in the form of an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator that can be secured to the user's body. Your flight route is dependent on the day's weather conditions - you may see New Eddystone Rock and Big Goat Lake to the south or Neets Bay and Bell Island Hot Springs to the north.
Flightseeing excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
