Cook My Catch is Princess Cruises' exclusive culinary experience highlighting the pinnacle of fresh seafood. Our chefs can cook and serve the fish you'll catch while on select Alaskan fishing excursions. You can choose your preferred preparation and accompaniments for your fresh-caught seafood and enjoy it for lunch or dinner. Your guide will meet you at the ship for a short walk to the marina for your license and proper gear. After a safety briefing, you're ready to board and cruise out onto the protected waters. Learn the secrets to catching one of the multiple species found on the deep-sea floor by working the sandy flats, drifting with Ketchikan's current, and jigging in waters as deep as 300 feet. No matter your skill level, you'll fish like a local and target what the day's conditions make available such as rockfish, code, flounder, skates and the might halibut. Sit back with a tasty snack, admire the scenery and keep an eye on your reel and the occasional eagle, seal or whale. Finally, walk back to the ship with memories of a fishing trip in the world-renowned waters of Alaska.
