WHAT YOU VISIT
Mendenhall Glacier
Built into a cliff above the valley you'll find the glacier's Visitor's Center. Enjoy the interactive displays and take time to watch a short film about the glacier and the 37 other glaciers that make up the Juneau Ice Field. Take a self-guided trek along one of the many picturesque trails or hike down to Nugget Falls, a double-tiered waterfall that plunges 377 feet and 99 feet.
Juneau Goldbelt Tram
Your all-day ticket allows you to head straight up the mountain or detour into town and ride the tram at your leisure. Take in the beautiful views of the Chilkat Mountains, Stephens Passage, Douglas Island, and Silver Bow Basin as the tram glides 1,800 feet above sea level. Be sure to check out the Native artwork, theater, bar and restaurant in the mountaintop lodge. You may also take a stroll along one of the alpine trails and enjoy some of the best view of Juneau area
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Don't forget your camera, viewpoints at Mendenhall Glacier provide the perfect vantage point for photos of this world-famous sight. There are also numerous self-guided walking trails to experience the special beauty of Tongass National Forest, allowing ever-changing glimpses of the glacier. After your tram ride, the vantage point at the top of Mount Roberts allows for stunning, panoramic views of the Chilkat Mountains, Douglas Island and downtown Juneau.

Commemorate your visit to the Juneau Goldbelt Tram with a visit to their gift shop. Browse through a collection of souvenirs, collectible, one-of-a-kind pieces of hand engraved silver jewelry, sculpture, prints, and carvings from Alaska Native artisans.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Your journey begins with a narrated tour of Juneau's downtown waterfront en route to the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area.
Special Notes:
All entry fees included. Tour operator is authorized under special use permit to access the Tongass National Forest. Does not include walking on the glacier. Visit at the glacier is self-guided as your driver is not permitted to conduct tours. Tram tickets allow unlimited rides throughout the day and include viewing of the award-winning Tlingit film "Seeing Daylight." Tram cars depart approximately every five minutes. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. but may vary on Mondays, early May and late September. Guests make their own way back to their ship on a short walk from the pier from the tram.Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
