Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

This fun day starts when you make the short walk from the cruise ship pier and board a tramcar adorned with traditional Tlingit art for the exhilarating ride up Mount Roberts. This ADA-compliant attraction welcomes people of all ages and abilities for indoor and outdoor activities. During the ride enjoy expansive views of the Chilkat Mountains, Stephens Passage, Douglas Island and downtown Juneau. Operating since 1996, the 60-passenger tram takes five minutes to rise 1,800 feet. Your pass is good for unlimited tram rides throughout the day. Enjoy the many amenities of the Mountain House, including the award-winning film "Seeing Daylight," a complimentary 18-minute movie shown in the Chilkat Theater. View impressive displays of Alaska Native artwork at Goldbel Tram Gifts. Native artists are often featured working on site in wood, fossilized ivory, silver or carving totem poles.

Special Notes:

A full refund will be given for any unused tickets on this tour, so there is no risk to purchasing prior to the call. You must bring your unused tickets back to the onboard Tour Desk by the end of the day. Tickets allow unlimited rides throughout the day and include viewing of the award-winning Tlingit film "Seeing Daylight." Tram cars depart approximately every five minutes. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. but may vary on Mondays, early May and late September. Guests make their own way to the tram on a short walk from the pier. No charge for children two years of age and younger.

This tour can accommodate manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and scooters. Juneau is sometimes a tender port. Please be sure to read the "Accessible Cruising" information on the home page of Princess.com.
