Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

An aerial tour is a unique and exhilarating way to learn more about breathtaking Oahu. Soar above sheer cliffs, verdant green hills, lush rainforests and the turquoise waters of "the island where aloha began". Although Oahu is the most populated of the Hawaiian islands, there are many remote mountainous areas and unspoiled landscapes that are best viewed from the sky.

Make sure to bring your camera, as you'll have plenty of opportunity to take amazing photographs.

Begin the adventure with a scenic 45-minute drive from port to the heliport. Meet your friendly pilot and participate in a short safety briefing to ensure that you are comfortable. Then it's up, up and away! Your pilot will expertly maneuver to make sure you see all the best island highlights, so sit back and relax as this lush, tropical paradise unfurls before your eyes and learn all about Oahu.

Over your 50 minutes aboard this spacious chopper, the iconic landmarks and hidden gems will come into view. You'll cherish all the sights of Honolulu with its dramatic cityscape and beach, plus the "other" Oahu, a tropical bounty of hidden rain forests, valleys, waterfalls and beaches, which many visitors are never fortunate enough to see. Glide over the turquoise waters of Waikiki, its sparkling shoreline and the colorful coral reefs. Look down into the Diamond Head Crater, 761 feet above sea level and one of the most famous volcanic craters in the world.

History buffs will treasure the views of Pearl Harbor and the haunting USS Arizona Memorial, a graceful 184-foot tribute that floats serenely above the shattered hull of the sunken ship destroyed by Japanese bombs on that infamous day in December 1941. At once beautiful and sobering, this stunning memorial commemorates the 1,177 crewmen (75 were recovered, 1,102 remain entombed there) who were killed during the surprise attack. Also in view will be the USS Missouri battleship, or "Mighty Mo," where the Japanese surrender was signed.

Soar over the sheer Koolau cliffs of the Nu'uanu Valley and the cascading Sacred Falls, currently only viewable by air. And marvel at the vast lushness of the Dole pineapple plantation, the epicenter of the island's pineapple empire started in 1899 by a 22-year-old from Massachusetts named James Dole.

As the flight concludes, look for your ship in the sparkling blue waters as you come in for a gentle landing. Return to the pier with magical memories and pictures of this beautiful island.
