All aboard! This unique full-day excursion features a railway experience aboard the historic Rheilffordd Ffestiniog, one of the oldest independent railways in the world. Begin your adventures in Holyhead with a scenic motorcoach drive. Take in the sights from Anglesey to the Menai Strait and Beddgelert, one of the prettiest villages in Wales. Upon arrival in Porthmadog, stroll the town's main street, then board the train for a 90-minute journey up steep grades and around tight horseshoe bends. Negotiate the amazing Dduallt spiral and the New Moelwyn Tunnel en route to the depot at Blaenau Ffestiniog, tucked into the mountains of Snowdonia. Reboard the motorcoach, then travel through the northern core of Snowdonia National Park. Stop to photograph Dolwyddelan Castle, then enjoy lunch in the picturesque town of Betws-y-Coed.
