Wine Expert in a Day Experience
Led by a passionate wine connoisseur with over 40 years of wine industry experience, the adventure begins with a personal introduction to your local guide, a veteran of the Australian wine industry and a specialist in wine education and winery tours. Set off to discover Tasmania's award-winning wineries, tempting delicacies and breathtaking scenery. As you travel, you'll enhance your wine education, visit several select cellar doors and engage in tastings. You'll even be given notes to take home with you.

What you will see along the way:
The area around Hobart is divided into several distinct wine regions, each with unique scenery. To the south, the Huon Valley showcases pioneer history, lush orchards and waterways. To the east, the Coal River Valley surrounds the heritage town of Richmond. To the southeast, the Tasman National Park is defined by a spectacular coastline, and the northwest holds the Derwent Valley and the shimmering Derwent River.

Tastings and Lunch:
During the day, in addition to several wine tastings, you'll pause for a lovely lunch accompanied by a glass of fine wine. Tasmania offers a wide range of cool-climate grapes that are grown and fermented in the region. Expect to sample Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Gewürztraminer.

Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water.
