What you will visit:

Inverawe Native Gardens
Tasmania's largest landscaped native garden, Inverawe Native Gardens showcases 22 acres of wildly colorful gardens and dramatic views over North West Bay to Bruny Island. As you stroll the grounds, you'll notice how the foliage seamlessly changes in color and theme, and you'll learn how and why Australian native plants have so perfectly adapted to the environment. Many of these plants are in bloom 12 months of the year, so you'll be able to relish the beautiful scents they release when the sun hits their leaves as you wander the landscaped pathways enjoying the chatter of the birds that flitter from tree to tree.

Hartzview Wines
Nestled in the picturesque Huon Valley, Hartzview Vineyard offers year-round beautiful vistas of the Hartz mountain range. Established in 1988, this sprawling, 125-acre property was originally a fruit farm, but its owners' keen interest in planting grape vines and the richness of the soil have produced a lovely variety of wines, in particular Pinot Noir. After touring the property, which includes a heritage pickers hut village, you'll have an opportunity to sample vintages at the cellar door.

What you will see along the way:
Take winding roads past lush countryside, rolling hills and small farms en route to Inverawe Native Gardens. Then enjoy the views when you drive through the Huon Valley, famous for its apple and fruit orchards.

Snack:
Tuck into morning tea after exploring the gardens. Coffee/Tea break - Tea or coffee, jam drops, coconut drops, shortbread, other fancy biscuits.
At the Hartzview winery, sample their delicious table wines, ports and liqueurs.
